The first step in cylinder recycling is to separate the tanks with propane still in them and visually inspect each tank for signs of damage and corrosion. Tanks deemed unrecyclable will be drained of its propane, devalved and sent to a local scrap facility to be shredded or baled. Those that are recyclable will be drained of their propane and stacked. These tanks will be refurbished at our facility or sent to outside vendors for refurbishing.
